We Art is an online gallery of contemporary art and unique orthodox icons. Targeting established collectors and seekers of rare religious antiques, the brand had to feel eclectic and private.

Two worlds

The logo combines the Glagolitic (the oldest known Slavic alphabet used in ancient orthodox texts and icons) with a classic modern sans, playing on the tension between the modern and the ancient. The colour palette brings together the rich burgundy of icons (which were traditionally painted on wood) and the energising fresh crimson, adding up to a real feast for the eyes.
